A Botox® treatment is a simple, non-surgical procedure to relax the muscles that cause frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, and lipstick lines around the mouth. Wrinkles are smoothed for three to six months. Botox® can also be used for an eyebrow lift if there is no excessive eyelid skin.
Results are natural appearing and apparent within days. Unlike surgery, Botox® is fast, minimally invasive, and has no downtime or recovery.

As skin ages, its natural volume diminishes. Wrinkles and folds form. Restylane® and Juvéderm™ are safe and natural cosmetic dermal fillers that restore volume and fullness. They are also used for lip augmentation and under-eye shadows. Both are made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that adds volume and hydration. One treatment takes about 30 minutes with results lasting for 6 months to 1 year.

A Beta Lift is a state of the art beta hydroxy acid peel that has redefined the traditional superficial peel. It penetrates skin follicles, and is used primarily to reduce acne lesions, uneven pigmentation and enlarged pores. It exfoliates dead and dull cells from the skin surface causing a very fine, mild peel over approximately 3 to 5 days. It can be used to refresh skin tone and texture every 4 to 6 weeks and is more effective than microdermabrasion.
The Vi peel is a medium-depth trichloroacetic acid peel that penetrates more deeply than a Beta Lift. Highly effective in promoting skin smoothness and vitality, a Vi peel will rejuvenate skin by evening discolorations, reducing pore size and stimulating collagen to improve fine wrinkles and mild acne scars. It is more effective than a Beta Lift but also requires a longer healing time of approximately 7 days.

Sclerotherapy is a procedure used to treat spider veins of the legs. A small amount of saline (salt water solution) is injected directly into the spider veins using a very tiny needle. Following the treatment, stockings compress the injured veins, which fade over a 3-4 week period. The treatments, although moderately uncomfortable, are very safe and effective.
Over time, sun and age take their toll on our skin. Changes often include:
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is the only method of treating these many unwanted changes all at once. With the use of IPL technology, dramatic improvements can be achieved with minimal discomfort and little recovery time. Although improvement may be seen after the first treatment, 5 monthly treatments are usually performed for optimal results.

Rosacea patients may develop permanent redness of the central face, neck or V-shaped area of the chest. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) resolves this redness without the risk of unsightly bruising often seen with vascular lasers. Treatments are given every 2-4 weeks for optimal results.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments allow permanent reduction of unwanted hair growth. Light energy passes through the skin, is absorbed by pigment in the hair follicle, is converted to heat, and disables the follicle. The Starlux 500 system is just as effective as the ruby, diode, or alexandrite laser, but it is more comfortable because of its patented cooling tip. Treatments feel like a series of pin pricks or rubber band snaps.
Hair grows in cycles, and is treatable only in its early growth phase and only if it is pigmented. Expect to achieve 80-90% improvement after about 6 to 8 treatments. The coarser and darker the hair, the fewer the number of treatments will generally be needed.

In 1996, Palomar became the first light-based technology company to receive FDA approval. Since then, Palomar has continued to develop more powerful, effective and comfortable technology.
All intense pulsed light systems are not created equally! The StarLux® 500 has 50% higher energy than most other IPL systems, which means fewer treatments are necessary. An added advantage is the patented cooling tip, which makes the StarLux® 500’s treatments more comfortable than others.
